Proposal Prep Session 1: Proposals as Projects

Event Date: March 21, 2024

Large or small, solo or with partners, building upon existing work or venturing into something new—every grant proposal benefits from dedicated planning and attention. Unfortunately, extra time and bandwidth are often in short supply.

In the first session of a three-part series focused on different aspects of grant writing, we discuss ways to be as prepared as possible before a specific Request for Proposals (RFP) is released.

Watch the recording below to hear ideas and examples on how to treat any proposal like a project. This includes collecting ideas about community and organizational strengths beforehand, exploring needs and potential partnerships, setting up budget parameters, and documenting capacity in various ways.
